We're Jumping for Joy!
We are so excited to let you know that you have graduated from our Next Wave Kids Club! When you turn 7, it’s now time for you to be seen at your very first free consultation appointment, so Dr. Jared or Dr. Anna can check how your jaw is growing, how many teeth you have lost, and make sure there is space for all of your teeth to come in. Because you were part of our club, we’ll give you a trip to Urban Air as a graduation gift when you come in!
According to the AAO, children should visit an orthodontist by age 7 to intercept possible problem conditions during growth that could make braces or Invisalign treatment easier or more successful when they are older.
What does early treatment do?
If early treatment is indicated, it can give us the chance to:
- Guide jaw growth
- Lower the risk of trauma to protruded front teeth
- Correct harmful oral habits
- Improve appearance and self-esteem
- Guide permanent teeth into a more favorable position
- Improve the way lips meet
Your first visit is free, and many children will enter an observation phase of free visits until their teeth or jaw are ready to start interceptive orthodontics or braces or Invisalign treatment, if necessary.
This allows us to have a plan, and for you to be informed on the health and development of your child’s jaw and tooth structures.
